I originally had this as a page describing the picture in the Side bar (thumbnail pantheon).   Now  I its a post.  It ‘s just for fun anyway…

MY THUMBNAIL PANTHEON

I could cite hundreds of people of whom I admire.
Famous people who have left legacies.
Any many, many people who i have met or presently are in my life.

the people in my thumbnail pantheon are famous people of note. my “thumbnail Pantheon” is a very incomplete list. But all of their legacies have left an impact on me.

Soren Kierkegaard –  philosopher who influence existentialism
Ornette Coleman – Jazz musician, experimenter; creator of Free Jazz
Carl Sagan – Mathematician and contributor to Physics and Cosmology
John Updike – Pennsylvania Author of peotry and novels
Thomas Paine – unsuccessful entrepreneur  until he wrote “Common Sense”
Mother Theresa – Humanitarian
Kurt Cobain – Rock nRoll musician and lyricist
Martin Heidegger – father of post modern philosophy
Paul Lawrence Dunbar – Poet and Author,

Captain Beefheart – Blues/Jazz/ Free form musician and painter
